(5/8/2024) This has an inviting nose of raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb and nutmeg. Touch of tobacco. It’s medium-bodied, very fresh and poised. Very fine, precise tannins. Drink or hold.

(4/2024) The 2022 Fleurie Les Labourons is perhaps a bit more Pinot-like on the nose compared to Dubois's other cuvees, yet it remains well-defined with dark plum and raspberry coulis aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy, very lithe tannins. Well-judged acidity brings about a sorbet-fresh finish. This is a neatly crafted, appealing, approachable Fleurie to enjoy over the next five or six years. Drinking window: 2024 – 2030.
