(12/2022) Echolands is a project started in 2018 by Doug Frost, MS, MW, working with winemaker Taylor Oswald on the ground in Walla Walla. They blended this wine with fruit from five vineyards, including 55 percent cabernet, 37 percent merlot, 6 percent cabernet franc and 2 percent petit verdot. It’s reserved and high toned, developing a minty lavender note over the scent of carob. The sanguine red fruits are assertive and bright.
