(7/2023) The 2021 White M5 captures all the personality of this cool vintage in its nervy personality. Even so, there is plenty of inner sweetness and mid-palate pliancy to provide a measure of balance. Orchard fruit, lime, white flowers and crushed rocks abound. The M5 is superb in this vintage. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2029.

(3/1/2023) A light color in the glass, this blend of 47% Grenache Blanc, 23% Marsanne, 17% Roussanne, 9% Viognier and 4% Picpoul Blanc shows crips aromas of apple, lime and ash on the zesty and vibrant nose. There's an intense grip to the sip, where citrus and pome fruit flavors stay sprightly and fun.

(8/30/2023) The 2021 M5 White checks in as 45% Grenache Blanc, 21% Marsanne, and the rest Viognier, Roussanne, and Picpoul Blanc that's all from estate fruit in the Los Olivos District of Santa Barbara. Its medium gold hue is followed by a solid perfume of honeyed peach, ripe citrus, and sappy herbs, with a kiss of background minerality. It's clean, medium-bodied, has a balanced mouthfeel, and outstanding length. Aged on lees for 5 months (with a portion going through malolactic fermentation), it should have 4-5 years of prime drinking. Maturity: 2023 - 2028.
