(1/31/2024) Matured for 10 months in 25% new French oak, the 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley has savory scents of cranberry sauce, blackberries, woodsmoke, tobacco and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate features generous, crunchy fruit and spicy accents. It has a silky texture, mouthwatering acidity and a long, expressive finish. Drink Date: 2024 - 2030.
Wine Spectator : 91 Points
(11/15/2023) Snappy and generous, with raspberry and blueberry flavors accented with clove and other dusky spices as this builds tension toward the vibrant finish. Drink now through 2030.
James Suckling : 92 Points
(4/15/2024) Spiced and a little earthy, with red and darker fruit as well as hints of dried flowers and wet stone. Polished and sleek, with a medium body and a chalky texture to its tannins. Very refined. Drink now. Screw cap.
