(2/16/2023) As with many cuvées here, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Crossfire Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard is the best in the lineup. Smoked tobacco, chocolate, damp earth, and ripe black fruits all define the bouquet, and this beauty is full-bodied, has a round, supple, layered mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a great finish. Drink this sexy, round, complex, satisfying 2019 over the coming 15+ years. Maturity 2023 - 2039.

(5/31/2022) The 2019 Crossfire Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard, still 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and 80% new French oak, offers up hints of graphite and pencil shavings alongside notes of cassis, dark chocolate, plum and anise. It's full-bodied, rich and velvety but still firm and structured, with the ability to age two decades. Drink 2024 - 2040.
