(6/2022) The 2020 Sylvaner is sharply focused as lemon oils, savory herbs and young peach form its bouquet. It's round and soothing on the palate, with sweet florality and ripe orchard fruits that coast along a core of juicy acidity. This leaves an air of confectionery spice and candied citrus to linger while finishing with medium length. In 2020, 450 millimeters of rain between August and September made the vintage very difficult; as a result, all of the fruit from the Praepositus line was added here. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2026.
