(10/2024) Drawing a large chunk from a perpetual reserve dating back to the 2003 harvest, the Eugene is a blend of 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir, disgorged May 6, 2023, finished with just 2 g/l dosage. The wine is wonderfully harmonious, with hints of natty tastiness, yellow apple cider, lemon, white flowers, honey, lavender, arugula, chalk. Combining at once the notes of youth and maturity, it is complex, long and fantastic!
