(12/29/2023) The 2021 Chardonnay Bassi Vineyard is reminiscent of Burgundy, with salty character and razor-like acidity. It opens with alluring scents of quince paste, beeswax and roasted almonds streaked with flint and saline character. The medium-bodied palate is powerful yet light on its feet, its expansive, savory flavors and mouth-coating texture balanced by vibrant freshness. It has a long, dynamic finish and will benefit from several years in bottle. Drink Date: 2025 - 2035.
