(4/13/2023) The 2019 Cervantes Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color. It comes skipping out of the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of juicy black plums, black cherries, and wild blueberries, with hints of cumin seed, chocolate mint, and clove oil, plus a waft of lavender. The full-bodied palate is fantastically shimmery with lively acidity and super plush tannins, finishing long and lifted. Superb! Drinking: 2027-2057.

(11/30/2021) The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon MMXIX is composed of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of redcurrant jelly, cassis and boysenberries, plus hints of cardamom, bouquet garni, red roses and lavender. Full-bodied, the palate is laden with vibrant black fruits accented by red fruit sparks, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Drink Date: 2024 - 2044.

(2/16/2023) The finest wine I've tasted from this estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec that spent 20 months in 80% new French oak. This medium to full-bodied, round, incredibly sexy beauty offers loads of red and blue fruits, some spice, graphite, loamy earth, and tobacco nuances, supple tannins, plenty of mid-palate flesh, and a great finish. A quintessential 2019, it can be drunk any time over the coming 15-20 years. Maturity: 2023 - 2043.
