(10/10/2024) The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1993 at 1,000 feet of elevation. It opens very slowly on the nose to reveal boysenberry, juniper, violet, grilled beef, cast iron and botanical undertones. The medium-bodied palate pairs concentrated, floral flavors with supple tannins, imparting a seamless feel. It’s balanced by juicy acidity and has a long, latent finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in the cellar. Drink Date: 2025 - 2040.

(1/2024) The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard is bright, aromatic and pure. Medium in body, with terrific length, the 2022 possesses striking aromatic presence and gorgeous purity of fruit. It will be interesting to see if it fleshes out with time in bottle. Production was a measly five barrels, or about 125 cases. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2037.
