(10/2024) Dave Caparone was the first winemaker to plant Aglianico in the United States, and his passion for this Italian grape consistently yields delicious wines at excellent values. The house style of extended barrel and bottle aging - 2019 is the current release - has softened its typically robust tannins. A 30-to-45 minute decant reveals beautiful notes of deep dark plum, leather, forest floor, and dark chocolate.
