(10/2024) Julian Haart's "J.J" is both a tribute to his son who has these initials and an homage to legendary fellow Mosel Riesling producer J.J. Prum - which this Kabinett is stylistically similar to. Much of the fruit for this wine is sourced from the Grand Cru Goldtropfchen vineyard with vines aged over 100 years old. With notes of beautiful orchard fruits pear and apple intertwine with citrus onto a long and lingering finish. A wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity, the key hallmark of great Riesling is here in spades.
