(4/2023) This righteous juice from winemaker Tim Fulnecky, named for his sunny demeanor, ain't your mom's Gamay Noir. Hailing from California's Central Coast, it's a bit more lifted and lively than its French counterparts. Full of fresh tart cherry and pomegranate flavors, with a slight herbal streak giving a hint of savory character. We tried it at room temperature and then also slightly chilled, and it was delightful both ways. Mr. Brightside himself may be known for keeping things light, but he's making some pretty serious wine. Trust us, this red is going to be your new staple for spring.
