(11/2025) Opulent and intense, this 2014 library release of a 375 case micro-production was aged in 80% new French oak and then allowed nearly a decade of slumber in bottle at the winery cellar. There's wonderful freshness here, interlaced with the rugged mountain terroir of Stagecoach. The cassis, dried cherry, poached plum, singed cedar, dried lilac, mocha and allspice flavors in this stunner are intense, fresh and vivid. It finishes oh-so-long and our price is absolutely bananas, and HALF of what the winery charged.
