(8/2023) The 2021 Poggio alla Guardia is soft, fruity and very easy to like. Succulent dark cherry, plum, licorice, spice, dried herbs, crushed flowers, mint, cedar and leather are nicely pushed forward in this very pretty, effusive, charming Maremma red.
