(10/2024) A blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, disgorged in January of 2023. This wine, the "entry level" bottling from Vilmart, shows us why this small grower is considered one of the very best in all of Champagne. Rich, fleshy, intense mineral and layered citrus notes, with yellow plum, apple, chalk, and lively acidity. Very long, beautiful fine mousse, and wonderfully harmonious.

(11/30/2024) There's a vibrant buoyancy to this graceful Champagne, with the finely detailed mousse and mouthwatering acidity serving as a springboard for flavors of ripe cherry, tangerine zest and macadamia nut, plus fragrant notes of lime blossoms, ground ginger and cardamom. Long and minerally on the plush finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Disgorged July 2023. Drink now through 2034. 1,000 cases imported.
