Wine Advocate : 95 Points

(1/18/2024) I tasted the 2021 P.F. next to the 2022 vintage, and this 2021 feels a lot more approachable, with a moderate 13% alcohol and having been in bottle for some 15 months now. It was produced with grapes from ungrafted vines older than 90 years of age at 900 meters above sea level, then fermented and matured in large oak vats. Despite having lower alcohol than the 2022 that I tasted next to it, it feels a little riper and more fruit-driven, more approachable. Drink Date: 2023 - 2030.
