Importer's Notes: Fresh and pure with a powerful aromatic profile. A demi-sec that shows more 'ripeness' than overt sweetness, this Vouvray has lovely flavors of ripe apples and honeyed floral notes. Round and juicy on the palate with elements of vibrant acidity, saline-driven minerality, and seductive fruitiness all vying for attention. This is a surprisingly complex and satisfying wine. The acidity helps make this an excellent pairing for spicy dishes with honey glazes and sweet sauces. Excellent value here!
