(9/2026) Though this is a blend of 50% Tempranillo, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Nebbiolo — it had us thinking green-tinged wines like Mencia. More herbal than fruit-driven, it abounds with intensity and a telltale saltiness. Notes of brined greek olive, juniper berry, thyme, tea tree oil, black raspberry. It won't be for all, but is certainly fresh and charismatic, with a rare umami-driven attack on the palate scarcely found elsewhere in the world.
