(7/9/2020) Chapoutier's 2017 Banyuls is made (like always) in a young, easy-drinking style. It offers up scents of milk chocolate and cherries on the nose, is relatively light-bodied in the mouth (16.5% alcohol) with silky tannins and a hint of almond skin, and finishes fruity, clean and refreshing.
