A side-project from the esteemed Rhys Vineyards, this is a small batch Cal-Ital of high-caliber, typically selling for well over $50 per bottle. A blend of Nebbiolo, Nerello Mascalese, Carignan, Primitovo and Barbera from a single mountaintop vineyard in the remote stretches of northwest Sonoma County near Rockpile. Per Jeb Dunnuck: I don't think there's anyone in California doing Italian varieties better than Kevin Harvey and his team at Rhys.
