(12/29/2023) The 2022 Zinfandel Lopez Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1918 in Cucamonga Valley, located near what is now the intersection of the 210 and 15 freeways. It was vinified using 50% whole clusters and matured in old redwood tanks for 10 months. It's bursting with fruity scents of apricot, raspberries and strawberries, plus accents of licorice and dusty earth. The medium-bodied palate is soft and supple, with generous, spicy fruit enlivened by mouthwatering acidity that calls you in for another sip. Nuanced yet alluring, this is dangerously easy to drink!
