Winemaker's Notes

The Greeks brought the original Fiano grape to Italy. Perhaps the most important white wine of southern Italy, this DOCG lees-aged wine comes from volcanic-rich soils from hilly municipalities of Lapio, Montefredane and Candida. Straw yellow with green reflections, its nose is delicate and mineral-tinged with underlying charms of peach, chamomile, and Mediterranean scrubland. Elegant, with spicy tropical undertones, it's lengthy and intense on the palate.
