(5/1/2025) The 2024 Gavi di Gavi from Tenuta Olim Bauda is beautifully floral and expressive on the nose, wafting from the glass in a complex blend of pear, lemon, a touch of casaba melon, salty soil tones, acacia blossoms and honeysuckle. On the palate the wine is crisp, complex and full-bodied, with an elegant profile, a lovely core of fruit, fine soil signature and grip, a good spine of acidity and a long, beautifully balanced and vibrant finish. A lovely bottle.
