(7/14/2022) The 2020 Crianza was produced with Tempranillo grapes from the Sonsierra zone grown at altitudes ranging between 425 and 650 meters above sea level. It fermented in 25,000-liter stainless steel tanks, where it also underwent malolactic fermentation. It matured in French barriques for 17 months. It has 14.4% alcohol, good freshness and acidity. This is quite spicy with pungent notes of licorice in a mix of more traditional and more modern notes, developed but still keeping the fruit and with French oak. It's polished and powerful, with abundant, chalky tannins. 55,000 bottles produced. Drink Date: 2022 - 2026.
