This wine opens with aromas of bright red cherry, fresh cranberry, and rhubarb complemented by subtle notes of sandalwood, while the palate reveals juicy dark cherry and raspberry alongside tart cranberry and ripe plum with a delicate hint of exotic spice and earthy undertones, finishing elegantly and smoothly with a refined, polished character, and it pairs beautifully with dishes such as beef bourguignon, grilled salmon, roasted duck, pork tenderloin, beet salad, wild mushroom pizza, braised short ribs, herb-crusted rack of lamb, and grilled portobello mushrooms.
