What Critics Think
Vinous - Joaquin Hidalgo : 90 Points
(11/2021) The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamandes De Uco from Campo Los Andes, Uco Valley was aged for 12 months in 1/3 new French barrels. Garnet red with a violet sheen. The nose offers notes of candied redcurrant and pepper with a gentle touch of mint. The structure is prominent with firm, finely grained tannins that feel reactive on the gums right now, but with time in bottle, they will better assimilate. A still rather young, intense red. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2033.
James Suckling : 92 Points
(9/8/2020) Blackcurrants and blackberries with mint and fresh herbs on the nose. Medium-bodied, with firm, chewy tannins that give structure and tension. Drinkable now, but better after 2021.
