(8/2026) On the other side of the Italian border, the Italian winery I Clivi bottles wines under their Slovenian name I Klivi. This Brda Blanco is a blend of 70% Sauvignon and 30% Friulano, sourced from a vineyard planted in ancient marine marl and sandstone soils. The wine was fermented and aged for 12 months in concrete prior to bottling. Clean and crisp, with a rich and round texture, look for citrus-driven fruit accented by a lovely splash of minerality and wild herbs.
