Vin Chicago: 90 Points

(1/2026) Chardonnays that reach this level of quality at this price don't come around very often, and we are thrilled to have this beauty at Vin Chicago! The wine is made at the base of the Pyrenees just outside of Limoux, France, in the Languedoc. According to the winemakers, the balance of clay, limestone soils and high altitudes is a 'paradise for Chardonnay!' The result is a beautiful balance of fruit (think lemon curd, yellow apples, and white flowers), acidity, and minerality, plus a very subtle touch of oak.
