(6/15/2023) The powerful 2021 Zinfandel Rattlesnake Ridge is scented of red and black cherries, lavender and dried herbs with streaks of graphite, although it continues to unwind as it spends time in the glass. The palate is full-bodied with generous, nuanced fruit balanced by refreshing acidity and grainy tannins, and it's youthfully coiled on the finish. Give it 3-5 years in bottle to unwind. Drink 2025 - 2040.
