WillaKenzie Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2016

89 Wine Enthusiast
(8/1/2017) "All stainless, no malolactic and widely available distribution make this a pure-blooded warm weather go-to white wine. It's young and still a bit yeasty, aromatic with scents of seeds and grains. Tightly wound fruit flavors of apple and green melon come with good depth and texture."

Elk Cove Vineyards Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2016

(8/31/2018) "The 2016 Pinot Noir is pale to medium ruby-purple in color with a bright, open nose of strawberry jam, boysenberry and blueberry preserves with touches of spice and earth. Light to medium-bodied, it gives good concentration of red and blue fruits in the mouth with juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins, finishing with touches of nutmeg and forest floor. This is a great value."

Typical retail on this refreshing white blend from Brianne day is $22. We're blowing it out for way less!
89 Our Score
(7/2019) As close to an Aslatian wine from the Willamette Valley that you can get, Brianne Day's "Vin de Days" blanc is a playful white blend composed of 38% Pinot Blanc, 20% Muller Thurgau, 19% Riesling, 18% Pinot Gris, and 5% Muscat. Offering a gorgeous mix between lush, ripe fruit and enticing aromatic florals, the 2017 Vin de Days blanc is simply a fun, smile inducing wine that is great to have on hand for any occasion. A ripe fruit basket of flavors include white peach, green pear, honeydew melon, kiwi, mango and lemon zest with attractive background nuances of white flowers and green garden herbs. You can basically taste what each varietal offers to the blend. The palate is plush and round with an easy-going freshness and a subtle kiss of sweetness on the finish.

(2/2019) "Editors' Choice - This is a simply gorgeous bottle that's loaded with fresh and palate-pleasing flavors of cut pear. Lively acidity with a mix of citrus brings extra life and length, and this will show best if decanted for an hour or two prior to drinking." (Oregon)

(3/1/2019) "Best Buy - Right on the heels of the 2016 comes this early release from 2017. It's almost a twin-smooth, ripe and remarkable for the price. Flavorful berry and plum fruit with well-massaged notes of vanilla, tobacco and Bourbon combine to make this a most enjoyable everyday wine. That it's true Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is even better."
