Chateau le Temple Medoc 2015

90 Wine Enthusiast
90 Wine Advocate
(12/29/2017) "The 2015 le Temple has a lovely ripe red cherry and cranberry-scented bouquet with just a faint whiff of cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, harmonious and focused with a fresh, delightful finish. Great stuff! This comes recommended. Drink Date: 2018 - 2027."

Chateau Tauzinat L'Hermitage St. Emilion 2015

89 Wine Advocate
(2/21/2018) "The 2015 Tauzinat l'Hermitage is medium garnet-purple colored with a nose of crushed black plums and black berries with touches of earth and game. Medium to full-bodied, soft and expressive, it gives loads of fruit with spices coming through and finishes with good length. Drink Date: 2018 - 2030."

Chateau Les Roches de Ferrand Fronsac 2010

We've shattered the $40 reference price for these classical half-bottles of Bordeaux!
90 Wine Enthusiast
(12/1/2013) "Initially austere in the mouth, this is a serious and complex wine. It has firm tannins, layers of blackberry fruits and acidity along with a strong feeling of wood aging. Powerful and with good depth, it's a wine that needs age."

Les Tours de Beaumont Haut-Medoc 2015

This 2015 Bordeaux is the second wine of Château Beaumont, and it is a crazy good buy! 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot.

91 James Suckling
(2/2/2018) "More savory than fruity, this is quite an elegant and reserved wine that has a crisp acidity that balances the rich flavors rather well. The supple finish makes it very easy to enjoy now, but it should hold though at least 2025."

Primus "The Blend" Colchagua Valley Red 2014

Clos du Jaugueyron "Le Clairet" Bordeaux Vin de France 2017

89 Our Score
(10/2018) "Le Clairet" is Clos du Jaugueyron new entry-level wine and it pays homage to the light styles of wine that came out of Bordeaux during the Middle Ages. Mostly Cabernet with a good chunk of Merlot, the grapes came from a parcel that gave winemaker Michel Theron quite a bit of trouble in the 2017 vintage. Very lightly extracted, this is a bright and energetic little table wine. This may be our new inexpensive fall go to wine.

Chateau Ormes de Pez St. Estephe 2012

These fun little left-bank half bottles are tasty propositions for tonight! When you don't want to crack into a full bottle, take advantage of this deal, which is the lowest in the country for any vintage of this wine by a couple dollars! Bordeaux is back.
92 James Suckling
89 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(1/2016) "The 2012 Les Ormes de Pez is flashy and seductive. Scents of sweet tobacco, mint, crushed flower, savory herbs, game, anise and leather meld into a core of dark-fleshed fruit. Drink this attractive, mid-weight Saint Estèphe over the next decade. This is a terrific effort from the Cazes family. The blend is 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot."
