Saint Jean Barroux "La Pierre Noire" Ventoux 2014

95 Jeb Dunnuck
(2/21/2018) "A total gem in the vintage, the 2014 La Pierre Noire is an insanely good wine made from 80/20 Grenache and Syrah that spent three years in concrete tanks. Black raspberries, kirsch, pepper, garrigue and liquid flowers notes all soar from the glass of this incredibly elegant, seamless, silky red that does everything right. With medium to full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a seamless texture, it's at the top of the heap in 2014. Don't miss a chance to try this beauty! Maturity: 2018 - 2030."

Chateau Pesquie "Terrasses" Cotes du Ventoux Rouge 2015

Awarding 92 points, Jeb Dunnuck calls it "smoking good" and recommends buying by the case. This month, we've got it in 1.5-liter bottles for just $25.99. Lots of big bottle fun for a rockin' price!
92 Wine Advocate
(12/30/2016) "A smoking good 2015 that readers should snatch up is the 2015 Cotes du Ventoux Cuvee des Terrasses, which is 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that's aged in a combination of two- to four-year-old barrels and foudres. Medium to full-bodied, polished, silky and with no hard edges, it has classic Southern Rhone notes of Provencal spices, garrigue, licorice and ripe black raspberries. Buy a case and drink bottles over the coming 5-6 years."
