Pepper Bridge Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

A seriously awesome bottle of Cabernet from the most iconic estate in Walla Walla!
93 Our Score
93 Wine & Spirits
(10/2016) "Like many Pepper Bridge reds, this one takes a full day to unfurl, starting out bound up and as earthy as freshly turned loess soil. But as it opens the wine becomes demonstrably fruit-driven, a fresh, pure shot of blackberry flavor framed by dark, earthy tannins. It needs time in the cellar to knit, then serve with a steak. (8/31/2017) "Deftly combines refinement with muscle, offering expressive black cherry and crushed stone aromas and deeply structured plum, roasted herb and spice flavors that finish with big, polished tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Best from 2019 through 2025. 614 cases made."

Charles Smith "Substance-Powerline Estate" Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

94-96 Wine Advocate
(6/29/2016) "Like with the Syrah, the new 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Powerline is a new cuvee based around a vineyard in the southern part of Walla Walla. Harvested from tiny yields and aged in mostly neutral barrels, this full-bodied, luxuriously textured, seamless beauty gives up lots of classic Cabernet notes of creme de cassis, licorice, toasted spice and graphite. There's an undeniably sexy style here, and while it will certainly be approachable on release, my money's on it evolving gracefully for 15-20 years."

K Vintners "Powerline Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Viognier 2015

94 Jeb Dunnuck
94 Wine Advocate
(6/29/2018) "Attractively perfumed, the 2015 Viognier Powerline Estate offers up delicate aromas of lychee, peach and apricot. On the palate, it's full-bodied, sappy and succulent, with nice texture and concentration and a long, flavorful finish. Viognier is a high-wire act to master, so kudos to Leighton and Smith for this compelling example. Drink Date: 2018 - 2021."
