(10/31/2018) "From old vines on poor soils that produce smaller grapes and berries, the 2014 Graf Morillon is super clear, fresh and intense on the nose, with stony/chalky fruit notes with very fine phenols. Round and salty-piquant on the palate, this is a light but lush, fruity-mineral and pretty complex Morillon in the coolish-elegant and refreshing Styrian style. The finish is crisp, piquant, stimulatingly salty and well-structured. In fact, this is an age-worthy wine that will keep its vitality for several years. 10.5% alcohol. Tasted July 2018. Drink 2018 - 2034."
