Domaine de la Vougeraie Clos de Vougeot 2015

98 Wine Spectator
(1/17/2018) "Red Complex aromas and flavors of red berry, sandalwood, vanilla, floral and mineral are alluring, made all the more appealing by the elegant frame and vivid structure. Silky and harmonious enough to drink now, but this should really sing in five to seven years. Offers a fine, smoky finish. Best from 2023 through 2040. 38 cases imported."

Domaine Pierre Gelin Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2015

95 Wine Spectator
(5/31/2018) "Though packed with cherry and black currant fruit, this red is impenetrable and cloaked in spicy oak. With air, the mineral core emerges and builds to a long finish. In time, all the elements will come together. Best from 2024 through 2042. 55 cases imported."

Domaine Poulleau Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2015

95 Our Score
Poulleau's Corton Charlemagne come from a single half-hectare parcel featuring full Southern exposure. This wine saw 100% new oak before bottling. Incredibly rich and decadent, the plush, hefty mouth presence is beautifully balanced with strong acidity and a fine mineral spine. Indulgent Chardonnay that's fully worth it. Actually, compared to most Corton Charlie prices, this is a total steal!

90 Wine Advocate
(9/22/2018) "Deeper and more serious, the 2017 Beaujolais-Villages Les Tours exhibits a plummy bouquet of deep red fruit, followed by a medium to full-bodied, concentrated palate with greater amplitude and dimension."

Domaine Antoine Jobard Meursault 2015

Always one of the last Meursault to come to market due to extensive cellaring (20 - 23 months in barrel), the anticipation for this is has us bubbling like an active fermentation! While wines like Domaine Roulot's have become impossibly expensive and scarcely available - Antonie's star is rising as he leads this family estate that has been imported by Kermit Lynch since the 1970's. A warm vintage should allow an extra-level of opulence that Meursault fans. Drink or hold, but buy today before this too reaches a level of unobtainability.

Caves Duplessis "Le Clos" Grand Cru Chablis 2016

95 Wine & Spirits
(4/2019) "Lilian Duplessis farms a one-acre parcel in Les Clos, his only grand cru holding. Those vines produce his most concentrated Chablis, a fresh and elegant 2016 that he fermented in stainless steel, then aged for nine months in neutral barrels. For now, the flavors are undeveloped, with incipient notes of grain-the scent of wheat sheaves, the crunch of cornmeal-and stony, smoky earth. At its core, the wine's intensely ripe fruit moves from nectarine toward apricot, enriching the structure and suggesting the complexity that will come with age."
