Bow & Arrow "Hughes Hollow Vineyard" Willamette Valley Gamay 2017

89 Our Score
(10/2018) Drawing inspiration from the wines of the Loire Valley, Bow & Arrow is crafting wines of humble beauty, deeply rooted in Willamette Valley terroir. Sourced from two parcels of Gamay in the southern reaches of the valley, the grapes undergo partial carbonic maceration and ferment entirely in concrete. Bow & Arrow's Gamay is a tribute to the legendary, and now impossible to find, Gamay of Clos Roche Blanche. Joyful and bright, this is one superb bottle of Oregon wine.

Elouan Oregon Pinot Noir 2016

When Joe Wagner sold "Meomi" about two summers ago, one thing that he held on to was Elouan. This is a much riper wine style than what Oregon fans are used to, and should cross-over nicely to those that prefer dark, rich, full Pinots.

(8/1/2018) "Those who enjoy Joe Wagner's California-style Pinot Noirs will find this quite comfortable. Its tart wild berry fruit comes with a plush streak of vanilla. Some coffee and tobacco highlights follow. There's plenty of power and flavor, but don't look for varietal specificity."

WillaKenzie Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2016

89 Wine Enthusiast
(8/1/2017) "All stainless, no malolactic and widely available distribution make this a pure-blooded warm weather go-to white wine. It's young and still a bit yeasty, aromatic with scents of seeds and grains. Tightly wound fruit flavors of apple and green melon come with good depth and texture."

Eola Hills Oregon Chardonnay 2015

89 Our Score
(3/2018) There are lots of beautiful Chardonnays coming out of Oregon but they tend to be on the pricey side. Offering pretty aromas of melon and tropical fruits, this bargain priced gem from Eola Hills is a rare exception. Eight months aging in French oak adds a toasty, nutty character while the Oregon fruit shines through with great depth, palate presence and rock-solid apple laden flavors. Completely dry on the finish, this totally delivers for the price.
