Domaine Andre et Mireille Tissot Cremant du Jura Extra Brut NV

91 Our Score
(11/2017) This delicious bottling is 50% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir with the local varieties of Trousseau and Poulsard making up the remaining 10%. The wine sees no dosage (the addition of sugar after the secondary fermentation) and the result is a bone dry "extra brut" wine with crisp and mouthwatering acidity complemented by a creamy palate. The finish is lengthy with subtle hints of nuts. This is a great substitute for Champagne if you're looking to increase value without sacrificing quality.

Jean Francois Ganevat Cremant du Jura Brut NV

92+ Our Score
(3/2019) A Kermit Lynch import, Jean-Francois Gavenat's Cremant de Jura is 100% Chardonnay is sourced from biodynamic vineyards. This gorgeous bottle of bubbly shows laser beam focused acidity with deep minerality and a flavor profile that is equal to and even greater than many Champagnes. Clean, dry, crisp, refreshing, and oh-so-long on the finish, give this one a whirl with a fresh plate of oysters!

Domaine Andre et Mireille Tissot Cremant de Jura Rose Extra Brut NV

90 Our Score
(11/2018) An atypical Blanc de Noir composed of 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Poulsard and 20% Trousseau. We've loved these Cremants for some time due to their distinct energy, and bone dry nature - featuring zero dosage. No makeup! Plenty of bright citrus to complement peach and nectarine notes subtly lifted by red florals. This wine delivers an especially pretty lightness coming from a rainy vintage 2016 in the Jura which tested these Demeter certified biodynamic winegrowers. These are stylish, dry wines that work all year long at the dinner table. Natural wine done right for a great price.
