Patricia Green Cellars "Mysterious" Pinot Noir 2014

94 Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(12/2016) "(55 percent whole clusters and 33 percent new oak) Lurid ruby-red. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red and dark berries, Asian spices and candied flowers, and a mineral nuance adds vivacity. Sappy, sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy black raspberry and floral pastille flavors joined by hints of star anise and vanilla that build slowly on the back half. Smooth and seamless in texture, showing superb finishing energy, fine-grained tannins and great persistence."

Winderlea "Imprint" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2015

This biodynamically-farmed, 100% whole cluster gem was a hit with diners preferring freshness at our recent Winderlea Dinner at D&J Bistro in Lake Zurich. Bill Sweat the founder here is a full-on whole cluster convert, a real stem-junkie, and we think once you have more wines like this, you will be too!

(1/2018) "(all whole clusters and 10% new French oak) Deep red. Spice-tinged red berry and floral scents, backed by deeper cola and cherry pit nuances. Sappy, penetrating raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show very good clarity and pick up a hint of smokiness as the wine stretches out. Fine-grained tannins build slowly and add shape to the long, lively finish, which leaves behind a suggestion of spicecake."

(12/2016) "Vivid red. Bright, energetic and spicy on the fragrant nose, displaying fresh red fruit and floral scents and a subtle touch of blood orange. Juicy and light on its feet, offering gently sweet raspberry and cherry flavors that unfold and put on weight with air. The floral quality repeats on the finish, which hangs on with very good, spice-tinged persistence. I find this wine to be quite elegant, even understated, for the vintage."

Belle Pente "Murto Vineyard" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2014

94 Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(1/2018) "(one-third new French oak) Vivid red. A heady, complex bouquet evokes fresh red and blue fruits, cola, potpourri and five-spice powder, backed by a hint of licorice. Juicy, focused and energetic but concentrated as well, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry and raspberry flavors and a hint of cocoa powder. Shows excellent clarity and spicy lift on the extremely long, focused finish, which is given shape by smooth, harmonious tannins."

Arterberry Maresh Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017

92 Our Score
(8/2019) From a third generation winegrower tending some of the Willamette Valley's oldest Pinot Noir vines, Arterberry Maresh is a relative rare find in retail, but a darling of the restaurant world for its grace and friendliness at the dinner table. A picture-perfect, classically-styled Dundee Hills Pinot Noir, it offers highly expressive notes of pure fresh-picked strawberry, cranberry and orange zest complemented with notes of sous-bois. If you have found the increasing ripeness and density in Oregon Pinot contrary to the classic sensibilities you historically attributed to the region, this 12.8% ABV masterpiece is your style of wine. An irresistibly fresh, and drinkable slam-dunk!

Eyrie Estate Dundee Hills Pinot Gris 2016

91 Wine Advocate
92 Wine Enthusiast
(10/1/2018) "Eyrie pioneered this variety and continues a half century later to break new ground. It's aromatically complex and elegant, with compelling flavors of waxy apple, grapefruit and star fruit. The wet stone acidity keeps it lively and fresh, but based on the winery's history, this is a Pinot Gris that can age quite well. Drink now to 2030 and perhaps beyond."
