Chateau de la Dauphine Fronsac 2015

91 Wine Spectator
(4/30/2018) "Offers an enticing core of plum, black currant and raspberry paste flavors that are mixed with light charcoal, licorice and singed alder notes. This has energy to match its range through the finish. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2019 through 2025. 9,600 cases made. Smart Buy."

Chateau de la Dauphine Fronsac 2012

90 James Suckling
90 Wine Advocate
(4/29/2015) "The acquisition of this wellknown, beautiful estate in Fronsac by proprietor Jean Halley has raised the level of performance dramatically. The 2012, which tips the scales at a whopping 15% alcohol, is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. This is a major sleeper of the vintage. Dense ruby/plum/purple with sweet black cherry and blackcurrant fruits, underlying minerality, a plump, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and lush, heady texture and length, this is one of the best La Dauphines I have tasted. Drink it over the next 10-15 years, although it is capable of lasting longer."

Chateau Les Roches de Ferrand Fronsac 2010

We've shattered the $40 reference price for these classical half-bottles of Bordeaux!
90 Wine Enthusiast
(12/1/2013) "Initially austere in the mouth, this is a serious and complex wine. It has firm tannins, layers of blackberry fruits and acidity along with a strong feeling of wood aging. Powerful and with good depth, it's a wine that needs age."
