Chateau Saint Cosme "Le Claux" Gigondas 2016

99-100 Jeb Dunnuck
(10/19/2017) "The 2016 Gigondas Le Claux has slightly more mid-palate depth compared to the Hominis Fides, yet is also more tannic and structure. Damp clay, forest floor, currants spice and huge minerality all soar from the glass and this full-bodied beauty has an unctuous texture that's currently hiding serious amounts of tannin. Forget bottles for 4-5 years and enjoy over the following 15+."

Famille Perrin "Domaine du Clos Tourelles" Gigondas 2015

94 Wine Advocate
97 Jeb Dunnuck
(10/2017) "The finest vintage to date, the 2015 Gigondas Le Clos des Tourelles comes from a tiny vineyard located just inside the village of Gigondas. Incorporating a touch of Syrah, this Grenache dominated beauty reveals a deep ruby/purple color as well as off the chart notes of black raspberries, black cherries, pepper, garrigue, and tons of that classic Gigondas spice. I wrote "Wow" more than once in my notes and this full-bodied 2015 has ultra-fine tannin, perfect balance, and a stacked mid-palate. Give bottles 2-3 years and drink over the following 15+ years."

Domaine Les Pallieres "Les Racines" Gigondas 2015

A beautiful 2015 Gigondas from the owners of Vieux Telegraphe!

(10/2018) "Importer Kermit Lynch and the Brunier brothers of Vieux Telegraphe have run this estate in northern Gigondas since the late 1980s. They pull Les Racines from the property's oldest vines, averaging 65 years, a blend of grenache, syrah, cinsault and clairette growing on a mix of sandy red clay and limestone. Vinified with ambient yeasts in cement tanks, then aged in foudres for less than a year, the 2015 is one of the prettiest Gigondas wines we've ever tasted. It's brisk and red-fruited, the floral, cherry flavors taut and pure, gaining their depth from notes of stone and garrigue that keep the wine long and firm."

Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondas 2015

96 Decanter
92 Wine Spectator
(10/15/2018) "Very solid, with a core of steeped dark plum, fig and black currant fruit that is still a bit coiled up, while singed cedar, lavender, savory and tobacco notes peek throughout. Shows a light sanguine echo on the finish. Just wait this out a bit longer in the cellar. Best from 2020 through 2025."

Domaine du Gour de Chaule "Cuvee Tradition" Gigondas 2012

92-93 Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(5/2016) "Vivid ruby. Potent, mineral-laced raspberry, cherry and floral oil aromas are complicated by subtle garrigue and white pepper notes. Seamless, focused and alluringly sweet, offering juicy red and blue fruit and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of spicecake. Finishes sappy and energetic, displaying sneaky tannins, resonating red berry character and outstanding tenacity."
