Cape Mentelle Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon 2017

91 James Suckling
88 Our Score
(8/2018) Cape Mentelle is located in the coolclimate growing region of the Margaret River in far southwest Australia, an area that is perfect for cultivating high quality Bordeaux varietals. This white blend, modeled after a classic white Bordeaux, blends 61% Sauvignon Blanc with 39% Semillon. The Sauvignon Blanc leads the way with flavors of green apple, citrus zest and crunchy bell pepper that are rounded out by the smooth and creamy texture of Semillon. A great value here to enjoy with a variety of fresh seafood dishes.
