Chateau Tour des Termes St. Estephe 2009

89 Wine Spectator
(3/2012) "A fresh, lively style, with a hint of anise on the edges of the sappy damson plum and cherry pit notes. A mix of currant and pomegranate are backed by briar on the finish. This should be a solid buy for mid-term cellaring. Best from 2013 through 2022. 8,500 cases made."

Chateau Ormes de Pez St. Estephe 2012

These fun little left-bank half bottles are tasty propositions for tonight! When you don't want to crack into a full bottle, take advantage of this deal, which is the lowest in the country for any vintage of this wine by a couple dollars! Bordeaux is back.
92 James Suckling
89 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(1/2016) "The 2012 Les Ormes de Pez is flashy and seductive. Scents of sweet tobacco, mint, crushed flower, savory herbs, game, anise and leather meld into a core of dark-fleshed fruit. Drink this attractive, mid-weight Saint Estèphe over the next decade. This is a terrific effort from the Cazes family. The blend is 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot."
