Kermit Lynch Vin de Pays de Vaucluse Blanc 2016

90 Our Score
(2/2019) This 50/50 blend of Viognier and Chardonnay is crafted by Kermit Lynch at Domaine des Durban in Beaumes de Venise. From hand harvested, sustainably farmed vines, it presents ripe stone fruit flavors along with a tense citrus core. An amazing seven days after we opened our sample of this plump, honeyed and super vibrant wine, it was still going strong. Most $16 Cotes du Rhone Blancs wish they tasted this good!

Domaine de Fenouillet Vin de Pays de Vaucluse Rouge 2017

89 Our Score
(4/2019) The incredibly skilled Soard brothers continue to overdeliver with Southern Rhone reds like this Vin de Pays de Vaucluse. A combination of the hybrid grape Marsellan (a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) with Merlot, this grainy, earthy, juicy, plummy, fruit-driven wine is medium-full in body with a brisk finish and a chewy mouthfeel. Imported by Neal Rosenthal, this distinctive wine offers way more character than you normally get for the price.

Domaine de Fenouillet Vin de Pays de Vaucluse 2015

89+ Our Score
(1/2017) "A delicious blend of Marsellan and Merlot, this juicy red comes from the flying Soard Brothers of Beaumes de Venise. Red fruits, pepper and a hint of barnyard give this crazy value more character than an $11 wine should have. A bistro wine with something extra."
