A Tribute to Grace Santa Barbara County Grenache Rose 2018

This new release of A Tribute to Grace Rose is like spring in a glass!
92 Our Score
(4/2019) Grenache virtuoso Angela Osborne biodynamically farms a single parcel of Grenache vines in the Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard that is used exclusively for her annual bottling of Rose. Her passion for Grenache comes through in all of her wines and this fresh release of Rose is a beautiful and expressive example that can easily pass for a top-tier classic from Provence. The wine is vibrant and full of life with a smooth and round texture that caresses the palate. Deep and complex flavors of strawberry, honeydew melon, peach and cherry skin are met with notes of honeysuckle, fresh cut flowers, white pepper and refreshing minerality. This full-bodied effort is best enjoyed today with a plate of grilled Mediterranean-style cuisine, and be sure to stash a few bottles of this gem away for next year's Rosé season because it will age, you know... Grace-fully!

Land of Saints Santa Barbara County Sauvignon Blanc 2018

90+ Our Score
(3/2019) Bright, refreshing and superbly well balanced, the mouthwateringly good Land of Saints Sauvignon Blanc is simply a pleasure to drink. From the first sip, this bottling from Angela Osborne will put a big smile on your face. Angela is famous as the founder/winemaker of A Tribute to Grace wines. This is the first Sauvignon Blanc we have bought from her, and it is a real beauty. Look for enticingly delicious flavors of ripe apple and pear along with notes of freshly squeezed citrus and a hint of crunchy bell pepper. Very good stuff here!

90 Wine Enthusiast
91 Wine Advocate
(4/30/2019) "This organic producer clearly merits more attention. The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose Quat'Saisons offers up hints of wet stone, fresh herbs and citrus on the nose, then adds red currant, cranberry and cherry on the light to medium-bodied palate. It unfolds nicely, yielding pleasant notes of white chocolate on the long, harmonious finish."

Groundwork Counoise 2018

90+ Our Score
(4/2019) This unique red is made from 100% Counoise, mostly from 20 and 30-year-old vines, planted in the non-irrigated Old Potrero vineyard in the Central Coast's Arroyo Grande Valley. The wine is produced using carbonic maceration which preserves freshness and yields a deliciously fruit-forward and light bodied style of wine. Serve this one with a slight chill to it and watch how fast it disappears at your favorite sushi BYOB.
