Bright candied cherry, raspberry, rhubarb highlight a particularly enjoyable palate which seems to bounce in your mouth before gliding out on a crisp finish. (4/2021) This Melon is the whole package for fans of the category. Salty, barely-there apple and lemon notes are spread thin atop a sneakily weighy mouthfeel that abounds in minerality. This is a classic vintage that sees a bit less fruit and very good zip to the profile- with great length and intensity. One needn't already be a Muscadet nerd to fall in love here, sign-up for the club if you like: Chablis, Albarino, Gruner Veltliner - or you're finding your normal go-to white wines a little too "obvious" lately. A vital, soul-satisfying neutral white to drink anytime over the next five years.

Aromas are vibrant and youthful including rose petals, grapefruit, lychees and a hint of ginger spice. On the palate it is intense, forward and expressive, underpinned by balancing freshness. Alcohol at 13.5% is warm but well integrated."
