Martin Woods "Havlin Vineyard" Willamette Valley Gamay Noir 2017

92 Our Score
(3/2019) This incredible Gamay comes from the Havlin Vineyard, which sits right in the path of the Van Duzer winds. Constantly buffeted by these cooling winds, the grapes develop much thicker skins, resulting in a more structured, intense wine. This is a serious Gamay with loads of power and depth that could go head to head with the best Crus of Beaujolais, yet remains distinctly Oregonian.

(3/2019) This gorgeous Willamette Valley Gamay is sourced from four vineyards throughout the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. This just exudes classic Gamay nuances of bright flowers, fresh earth and snappy red fruits. Highly aromatic, it has great texture and acidity. Division Winemaking Company "Les Petits Fers" Oregon Gamay 2017

91 Our Score
(5/2018) Kate Norris and Tom Monroe moved to France on a whim, learning how to make old world wine while living in the Loire Valley. They fell in love with Gamay and now are making one of the most deliciously authentic Gamays we've ever tasted. If presented in a blind tasting alongside Cru Beaujolais from famed appellations like Morgon - as we did with some of our team members - most wine geeks would be stumped. With tons of energy on the nose and palate, this wine is all about freshness. Bright and lifted with plenty of juicy red fruit flavors and a fantastic grip at the front of the mouth, with just a hint of earth. Really, really, really well done.

Evening Land "Celebration" Seven Springs Vineyard Gamay Noir 2013

Awesome closeout! A lot of folks, including Sashi Moorman believe that there Gamay may well be better suited for the Willamette than Pinot Noir, so while this is a pioneering effort, there is a bright tomorrow. Sourced from the famous, biodynamically farmed Seven Springs vineyard, the average online price for newer vintages of this wine is $35. For half that price, taste the future and put this on your Thanksgiving table, chill it when the weather is warm, and compare it to your favorite Cru Beaujolais!

Bow & Arrow "Hughes Hollow Vineyard" Willamette Valley Gamay 2017

89 Our Score
(10/2018) Drawing inspiration from the wines of the Loire Valley, Bow & Arrow is crafting wines of humble beauty, deeply rooted in Willamette Valley terroir. Sourced from two parcels of Gamay in the southern reaches of the valley, the grapes undergo partial carbonic maceration and ferment entirely in concrete. Bow & Arrow's Gamay is a tribute to the legendary, and now impossible to find, Gamay of Clos Roche Blanche. Joyful and bright, this is one superb bottle of Oregon wine.
