Delaforce Douro Touriga Nacional 2013

90 Our Score
90 Wine Advocate
(12/30/2015) "The 2013 Touriga Nacional was aged in French oak (half new, half used) for 12 months. A bit earthy and rather powerful for the level, this is a very focused Touriga with elegance in the mid-palate and a fairly intense finish. Pointed and focused, this is showing rather well, with a lingering finish and fine structure. It's a very nice bargain. There were 3,000 cases produced."

Herdade do Rocim Alentejano Touriga Nacional 2016

90 Our Score
(2/2019) If you enjoy Portuguese reds, you've likely had a wine from the Douro region made with the Touriga Nacional grape. This wine, however, might be the first Touriga we've had from the lesser-known Alentejo region in central Portugal. Dark, with serious front-of-mouth chew, this delicious red features black fruits and freshly turned earth along with a structure of moderate alcohol, medium-plus acidity and medium-plus tannins. It's a serious wine at a seriously inexpensive price. An especially good match with cold weather fare! (Portugal)
