(11/2020) What a versatile and affordable bottle this longtime Vin Chicago favorite is! A yummy blend composed primarily of nicely dry Chenin Blanc, complimented by unoaked Chardonnay and Viognier for flair. We think this vintage leans a bit more crisp than previous iterations, and the end result is a delicious citrus-drenched cornucopia of stone-fruit and melon. It's lovely juice, and the type of wine we've always championed as the type to choose when you need a volume of wine to please a broad swath of white wine tastes - everybody will like this!

(5/2020) We love the red wines from Castano - they're consistently great values! The good news is this Eric Solmon imported Spanish producer also makes white wine! This 50/50 blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay is a great deal at this close-out price. Flavors of pear, golden apple and honeysuckle finish round with river stone minerals. Perfect party white, or with grilled veg or Chicken Vesuvio.

Sourced from high elevation, cool climate sites in the Golan Heights region of Israel, this is a super fresh, super fun white at a great price. Look for stone and orchard fruit flavors with tempered perfume floral notes. Finishing dry, this smartly priced white drinks like a Pinot Gris - Albarino blend with a dash of Muscat for good measure. Great as a welcome wine or with spicy Asian food.

(11/2020) From the sparsely populated municipality of Subirats in the Penedes region of northeast Spain, this tasty Cava is composed primarily of traditional varieties: 51% Parellada, 27% Macabeu and 17% Xarel-lo along with 5% of the more familiar Chardonnay. Nicely dry and clean with notes of apple blossom, yellow pear, lemon pith, white stone and hazelnut, it offers a lot of fresh bubbly goodness for the dollar.
