(5/2025) The amount of complexity and depth of flavor packed into this fresh and lively wine from the talented Angela Osborne is mindblowing. A native of New Zealand, Angela settled in California's Central Coast to start her winery 'A Tribute to Grace' which is focused on producing expressive small-batch wines from her favorite grape, Grenache. Farmed biodynamically, her rosé of Grenache is from a specific plot of vines planted in the Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard. This fresh 2024 release is a joy to drink, bursting with cherry, strawberry, and watermelon rind along with notes of lychee, just-ripened peach skin, honeydew melon, and pomegranate. To add to the experience, wonderful aromas of orange and cherry blossom, along with fresh white flowers, really awaken the senses. The palate is light and brisk, with a streak of minerality that makes the wine so easy to drink, and so refreshing. The food pairings ideas are endless, making this one of the most versatile rosés out there, perfect for drinking year round in the winter, spring, summer and fall. (Insider tip: stash a few bottles away to enjoy over the next couple of years - this rosé ages 'grace'-fully).
